2002 KAPLAN & WARD 9 CITY JUDGE CAMPAIGN--VOTE #62

MESSAGE TO THE VOTERS OF KAPLAN

      AND WARD 9

We are all guilty, myself included, of complaining about the state of affairs, the status quo, so to speak. "Nothing ever changes," or "everything always seems to stay the same."  This is one of the reasons I decided to run for City Judge. I realized it is not someone else's responsibility to change things. It is each and everyone's responsiblity, at least those who are not satisfied with the status quo. Sitting at home in the easy chair and complaining about what is wrong changes nothing, at least when it comes to  political matters. I think if you will consider the following thought, you will realize as I did when I wrote it not so long ago, that the average citizen still has a powerful tool to effect change, and it is not the spoken or written word. "The most powerful voice of the average citizen is spoken in silence. But it is not articulated, through the power of speech. Rather, it is wrought by the power and dexterity of the hand, as we exercise our precious right to vote." If you want change, then make your own change. Get out and vote this October 5th. When that curtain closes behind you, in private and silence, speak loudly and cast your vote for change. Remember, a vote for Frank LeMoine is a vote for Honesty, Integrity and Service to the Community!
